wish i could. buy sunshine that is. checked weather.com for chicago, and even in summer it isn't too pretty. i think we're pampered by such small and comfortable temperature ranges. i'm in for some shit in september, that's for sure. need to buy myself a nice warm jacket.

list of top 5 things to buy before i leave...
1: a nice warm jacket. so i don't die of the cold.
2: a digital camera. something i can carry around without having to break out the big bag
3: a portable harddrive. to make up for my measly 60 gig laptop.
4: a few nice books. to read on 20 hour plane ride.
5: a travel/portable charger for my zen neeon. so that it will last the 20 hour plane ride.
all of which will cost me loads of money. money i don't quite have. very irritating that.
also. i need to settle my visa and my plane tickets. which should be easy once chicago gets its act together.
meanwhile, i'm spending way too much time on KOTORII, which thankfully is almost complete. just need to shove my freaking lightsabers into the last 2 sith lords and i'm done. for some reason, i always play the good guy in videogames, but i'm pretty much evil in real life. subconscious telling me something perhaps?
and a sidenote. still feeling incredibly lonely these few days. too much time+too little important people to spend it with+general discontent with life=loneliness. very very annoying. gonna go take some pictures tomorrow, which usually either makes me very happy or very irritated.
okay, i realise that i'm posting very disjointed-ly now, cos i no longer have anything in particular to channel my vitriolic energies towards. so let's just say this: I HATE THE BLOODY WORLD. FUCK YOU ALL! okay not really.
