i need a laptop. and courts charge insane interest rates. problem. anyways, i've decided on one of two different models, either the acer 1692 at $2600, or the acer 5502 at $2400. difference is 64mb of video ram and 1 inch of screen size and 20 gigs of harddisk space. someone advise? oh the 5502 is about 0.5 kg lighter though, and slightly more portable. the 1692 is huge, but looks damn nice. the display reminds me of the $6000 toshiba dream machine i've been playing with at PSC for video editing.
okay, got that crap out of the way. thanks to everyone who has been supportive (see previous post!). i'm now quite convinced that i can try to do it, so i'll be coming up with a more concrete plan to present to mr aaron ng this tuesday.
but this post isn't about that. mainly, it's to tell everyone whom i have not told about this song called virginia moon, which is by foo fighters featuring norah jones. okay let the whole thing sink in for a while. seriously. i think this song is the answer to many of life's questions, even though the lyrics as they are make absolutely no sense and the tune is pedestrian at best. but the whole thing is like the musical form of matter-antimatter annihilation, and as such is pure energy. well, no one got what i just said obviously, so if you want to listen to it, MSN me and i'll send you the file. it really shouldn't be illegal to share this song, cos it is obviously the one true path to enlightenment. okay, that was a rather bad thing to say, so i take it back.
alright now everyone ignore me.
