仓皇的脚步我不醉不归

as random obligations expand to fill all available free time, summer apparently is the worst time for blogging. but on a sunday morning with little else to do except sleep (and think about packing, or for that matter, pack), writing comes up tops on the list again.

to reconcile myself to the fact that in less than 72 hours i will be flying (to be precise i will be lay-overing in hongkong, but that's irrelevent) is somewhat difficult. personally i see everything as either things i will continue to do in chicago (take a shower, catch a bus, read a book) and things i'll be doing for the last time in 9 months (take a shower in my singapore house, catch a bus from infront of esplanade, read a book on an MRT).

what's left to do:
meet a few more people
consider the horrendous task of packing
pack

that's a pretty short list. then i realise that as always, things i've missed out on will form a much longer list, which only serves to remind me that i will always want to return to singapore. that's a comforting thought when coupled with the insanely large probability that singapore will exist for me to return to when i can.
